The food was definitely up to par but entering the restaurant with super high expectations after reading so many raving reviews online, to be honest, I was a bit disappointed. One thing I really didn't like is that, most food was not hot enough when served. It was just lukewarm as if it was not freshly made. Apart from that, the taste was decent but not extraordinarily impressive, definitely not as shockingly good as what some people online said. Will I come back? Probably, if I happen to be around the restaurant by chance. But I won't travel all the way from another district for eating at this place.

The food came shockingly quick! I was provided with a printed English menu which didn’t matter much because you order via the QR code which has an English menu with photos of the dishes. The chicken feet were surprisingly tasty, but have so little meat on them. Be warned they are definitely very spicy for the American palette. The wolfberry/longan tea was delicious. Both the fried pork knuckle and fried shrimp paste patty’s were extremely rich. I ordered a lot of food for just one person and could not finish it all. The downfall of the whole thing was the ridiculous $500HKD/$65USD credit card minimum. Not very friendly for people just getting in where this wipes out all your cash. I even offered to have them add on a surcharge and they said no. I would never support this business again because of how unfriendly they are to just arrived foreigners.

Nice restaurant to go if you want to enjoy HK style Cantonese dishes. It’s good place for family and friends to have lunch or dinner. Most of the dishes are tasted yummy. We didn’t expect the tofu dish coming with such a large bowl of cheese! My kid loves it. The pan-fried black truffle squid cake is excellent! However, the pepper prawns is below standard we think. We could only taste the pepper. Tasteless prawns. Staff are very nice and provide great service. I think it’s more easy to access their branches in Tsuen Wan and Sai Wan nearby HKU station.

A modern take on traditional DAI PAI DONG. A beloved restaurant among locals and a must-try if you haven't been here! Air-conditioned, spacious, and the same old recipes. While you're here, definitely try some sweet & sour pork, "jer jer" veggies in a clay pot, or an aromatic bowl of rice with lard! Be sure to order some cold beers too and enjoy them from a chilled Chinese bowl! 〔 Follow me on instagram @sikbaobaola ! ^^ 〕

food is fresh and cheap. It has a modern twist or western influence to authentic HK food stall food. for example, pineapple sweet and sour pork but served with side of honey comb or oats fried shrimps or deep fried truffle cheese beef balls. make sure you make a reservation! it's such a busy place so do not expect there will be any service but at that price point, really cannot complain
