Right by the Kwun Tong Promenade, @laserrehk is the perfect place for date nights with its extensive menu (including alcohol) and relaxing outdoor seating area

We were a little surprised that the restaurant was quite full on a Monday night. As the weather is heating up these days, we opted to sit inside near the windows. Food was promptly served with a hot butter bun and sun-dried tomato bread arriving first.

[King Prawn Risotto in Tomato Sauce] The three prawns were super huge with a firm flesh. The rice had a rich seafood taste while the fresh tomato, cheese and mushroom added extra bursts of flavour. The texture of the rice was just the way we liked it - not too hard or soft with a slight chewiness.

[Baked Red Snapper Fillet with Coconut & Lemongrass Sauce] The essence of the dish was definitely the sweet coconut sauce, which went well with the soft boneless fish meat, herbed fries and side rocket salad. The crispy fish skin was perfectly seasoned, so don’t skip it as it is a great source of nutrients!

[Italian Chocolate Milk Shake] A mixture of baileys, kahlua, frangelico, chocolate and milk, this cocktail is now officially one of my faves! The sweet taste of Baileys was quite prominent while the top milk foam layer enhanced the creaminess.

[Mixed Berries Mojito] A classic mojito with lots of strawberries and blueberries that almost filled up the entire cup. We couldn’t really taste the rum base so we were wondering whether they mixed up our order and served the mocktail version instead, but we still enjoyed the refreshing fizziness.

This restaurant is one of the handfuls along with the Kwun Tong Promenade. We went here for a few drinks during the weekend and was looking forward to a chilling afternoon. Things simply turn out quite different from what I hoped.

Firstly, my friend had mixed berries which are badly mixed probably it weren’t defrosted yet resulting in an oddly flavoured. I had a glass of champagne which is fine though it does come along with a staggering tag of $130.

Secondly, the waitresses are extremely busy! The doors of this restaurant are opened and the waitresses are rushing back and forth setting the tables and taking the orders. The environment just makes you feel tense. In the meantime, there are other staffs just standing aside chatting between themselves. If you do come in here, do expect yourself to be served in a hurry.

Thirdly, the table we sat was next to the island table and the cashier. The noise level eventually become unbearable, and we left before the sunset. Which was the reason we came, I was hoping to watch the sunset while having a drink. In reality, we face a pile of dirty dishes and cutleries at the island table.

I rarely write reviews, but I think restaurants nowadays need to do better than this. I mean they got a great location, the exterior design is amazing, a little glasshouse with some outdoor sitting. That’s exactly where I want to eat, but ironically the service and the food are not good enough, at least act like you are...

An Italian restaurant that located in the park where you can enjoy a nice sea view, view of cruise pier and Hong Kong Island. The restaurant offers delicious meals and a large variety of beverage at reasonable prices. The environment is very relaxing. Waiters are nice and friendly. I had been there twice, one was in an afternoon for coffee and cake. The restaurant is a bit full and staff were busy. Both the coffee and cake were good! My friends and I spent a few hours there, and we saw beautiful sun set when we walked out from the restaurant. The second time I went there on a late Sunday night, there was plenty of empty tables and so I can easily find one. Some of the food were sold out, but we did order something else which were also delicious. There is a public car park at the end of the road (near Kowloon Bay). So, you can drive and park your car there, than wondering along the park along the sea side, and go for a meal at the restaurant. Another way to get there is by ferry. There is a ferry from Saiwanho. I will definitely come back to enjoy the food and the beautiful...

I had a family dinner here. We had pan fried Foie Gras on toast with figs as an appetizer. It is a big portion than I expected. It'd better to serve sea salt to lift the taste a bit. For mains, we had slow cook Salmon and spring chicken; and pork chop! The slow cook dishes hadn't got any sign of slowly cooked in a vacuum bag for long hours. The texture was a bit tough and no taste. All dishes of ingredients and sources were the same. (Probably the space is limited or this is a way local Western style case suppose to run?) The dinner spent $1400 for a 3-course menu, 2 mains and 2 for 1 wine 🍷 each. Both value and quality aren't matched at all. It is hard for me to repeatedly visit. The restaurant was filled only 1/4 of guests on a Sat evening.
