……its fraud and a scam as food is not from the restaurant that we originally wanted to eat in and the food was unsanitary due to unorthodox handling.
Bread is stored outside this restaurant in a rusted unsealed metal cabinet, and we watched in horror as it was man-handled to another restaurant on another block away. There are a lot of rats in Kowloon City, and I would have preferred that the restaurant store it in a sealed cabinet, instead of one that does not close properly.
After waiting for 20 minutes and being rudely instructed from a mean-mother looking hostess to not ask questions and wait to be called, we were led to another restaurant when this restaurant was full of people, and were tricked by them that this new restaurant which was actually a block away was a part of their restaurant. The man that led us to this new restaurant did not tell us where we were going.
The food in this new restaurant actually tasted really bad. Watered down, tasteless and was not consistent or same as Lung Jie.
That is a scam. We paid for Thai Food, was fed something else.
The food was bland, watered down and awful. The downsized mango drinks had no mangoes and watered down. The soup was tiny and same with all the other dishes.
The pad thai was gross, bland and tasted like tasteless Chinese noodles. The only thing that tasted “flavor”, was the itsy bitsy pieces of diced peanuts on the side of the dish. The rest of the ingredients on that plate all tasted the same…..duct tape with no seasoning.
Next came the curry bun with soft shell crab. When it came, we asked for a scissor, the waitress looked at us as if we were talking Russian. The curry bun with soft shell crab was filled with watered down yellow liquid mixed with non existence vegetables and 6 pieces of soft crab legs. When we cut the remaining bread to eat, OMG, the yellow curry gushed out like diarrhea lava covering up the whole plate. The bread was soaked to its core.
Good God, prawn cake was the worst. It was like devouring deep fried tasteless meat that tasted like uncooked stale cake.
There were food that never arrived, but was charged for it when the bill came. Food on the average takes them over an hour to serve. There were five staff in the kitchen, and they still had a problem dishing out the dishes.
Overall this was a bad experience for us, as we were scammed to believe that we were eating at Lung Jie. But apparently I guess Lung Jie thinks that everyone in Hong Kong is stupid and that its okay to scam people to go to other restaurants by telling them that its the same restaurant and serves the same food.
If the food is not the same, please don’t scam us by showing us the same menu but serving different food in low portions.
Although the food is a scam, and there were no free desserts, but the services, friendiness and environment was superb in this fake Lung Jie restaurant. The staff in the real Lung Jie mostly have chips on their shoulders and have attitudes that would make your most hated friend look like saints.
The way I look at it, is that this is a huge scam and totally illegal...
Read moreBad experience for the delivery (not the delivery guy problem, is from the restaurant). Have ordered one pork curry plus one ice thai icete from Keeta, the Keeta menu did not mention the curry served with/ without rice. You are not expecting customer to assume there is no rice in your curry. (This is really the first time that I had such an experience when you ordered the curry, the menu will auto shows to add RICE AT ALL, but none of these shown). I placed the order for 12x dollars and waited for 35 mins at least to get my lunch during work time, and just found there wasnt include rice at all (plus there were no options from Keeta and the restaurant just let customer notice this meal doesn’t serve with rice together). I tried to call the restaurant to ask for solution, no solution was given, just cut my line because they are afriad of asking refund/giving out solution and keep saying that was customer’s fault. I dont really care just to add $20 more dollars to deliver a freaking rice at all, but there is literally no add on option or remarks to let customers know that is not serving with rice. Are you seriously expecting the customer drinks the curry without a freaking bowl of rice for real? Dang this restaurant, dont want to hear any suggestions at all and keep doing shxt. Seriously Not suggested if you work close to kln city either, because they keep asking you to walk to their restaurant when you are working in Kln Bay region. Nice...
Read moreDining time (3:10 pm late lunch) Follow @wojengyea/@wo!正嘢 for more food info 🐒 Support us in discovering more delicious food 😋 Every time I come here for a late lunch, I always order the Tom Yum fried rice. (Friendly reminder 🥁🥁) You can ask for it to be less sweet and less spicy because sometimes it can be too sweet 🍬🍬or too spicy🌶️ 🌶️ . After placing the order, you can hear the chef 👨🏻🍳 stir-frying it right away in the kitchen (Thai wok boy lol). The rice is not too moist, and it's packed with ingredients including straw mushrooms🍄 , coriander🌿 , scallions, chicken🐓 , dried garlic🧄 , and chili seeds🌶️. The most important thing is the rich and flavorful taste of Tom Yum. It's unbelievably delicious! The rice grains🌾 are distinct and have a nice texture when you bite into them. That's why I keep coming back for it. Usually, they serve a bowl of soup🍲 with lunch, but today the staff is having their own meal, so they might have forgotten.😂
Beverage Their meal comes with soda🥤 , and every time I choose Coke with ice. This time, I wanted to have a cup of hot milk tea☕️ , thinking they would prepare it in Hong Kong style, but they made a hot Thai milk tea🇹🇭 instead. It tasted really good, and they even added sugar to the tea, which was...
