McDonald's (Apliu Street) — Restaurant in Kowloon

Come on McDonalds. You gotta do better than this. I know I was dining later than usual, but this isn't ok anytime.

This particular location has an assortment of savage like inhabitants that sleep there for hours on end. Not so bad late at night, but it happens regularly during lunch rush too. The managers do nothing to free up the seats.

Don't get me started on the people who bring their own food and treat the dining area as their own personal picnic spot. I'm expecting to see someone using a hibachi one of these days.

Slow service. Their service shows more like a funeral service and less than a fast-food restaurant.

(Edited Dec 2021) Now they have added a cheap voice recorder speaker, similar to the ones usually seen in sham shui po flea market, in their own store that makes annoying loud advertisement sound. Because of that, everybody including staffs, customers and cooks have to talk louder just to communicate better. Imagine Sham Shui Po market inside a MCDONALDS resto. Bizarre....

Since the worldwide implementation in stages of the touch screen kiosks McDonald's ordering now have more choices. Slow poke like me, sometimes, like to see what's available and ponder my choices. I don't like feeling rushed by the order taker in front or some impatient customers behind. The self ordering kiosk removed that dilemma.
