General idea: It is an indoor playground / cafe to cater for parents to bring kids to play and have some food. Environment: It situated at the 1st floor of D2 place two and occupy part of the floor. Half of the floor areas served as playground including ball pool and sand pit. The playground was nicely decorated and placed lots of different toys for kids to play with. There were play houses, kitchens, and open spaces for kids to run around if they want. Sand pit was something that was unexpected but I guess some kids would like to play with other than at the beaches. The other half served as cafe and they provide a variety of food and drinks. The place was rather crowded as they allow lots of families in (I think they filled 200+ people in with lots of trollies) and noisy (the headroom is not particularly high which reflected lots of crying sounds from kids). Food: We ordered pastas, wings, fries and they taste alright. They offer both hot and cold drinks including coffee and tea. They also have all day breakfast and deserts should you want them. The "game": What they did is something genius: the said the minimum charge per person is $120, and they charge 170 for an average tasting pasta, +$50 you can then get a drink. Besides, they required each group to pay $70 per kids as "cleaning fee". I did not feel happy leaving this place, so as my friends with kids. Also, the families might need to do some time management between play time and eat time. It is because you are allow to stay there for 3 hrs and the last hour the playground would be closed. If you want to eat something you might decide to eat after playing with your kids. The verdict: It is just like everyday nursery but adults are required to stay and be ripped...
Read moreAdvantages: place is convenient, foods are delicious, booking system is user-friendly.
Disadvantages: place is not as clean as imagine (especially the sand room, the sand is cold and wet and my kids has skin allergy after came out from there. To be fair, my friend’s kid has no problem. Maybe my kids’ skin are too sensitive) However, we are still wondering how to make the sand clean without sunshine (sunshine can kills bacteria😛)
Staff sometimes not very responsive, I shake hand a long time to draw their attention.
At the beginning, staff would go inside the balls pool to monitor the kids, after 45 mins something, they won’t go inside till the end of the time slot.
The area is not as large as I imagine, kids did not have enough place to play toy trains and tracks.
The hand disinfectant with alcohol, personally I think it is not good for kids.
My kids aged 2 need to be charged, please pay attention if you expected that they are...
Read moreThe food is pricy but very tasty, the fact that i had eaten before taking any pictures before hand is telling. But the main point of this place is the play room facilities, somewhere to let the kids run free. It's not cheap but what price do you put on a real restaurant + playroom these days? The decor is clean, stylish with naturally but muted colours. Toys are clean and staff are very professional and friendly. Ultimately, it's a place to entice tired parents to have a coffee and have some good food and let the kids burn off energy for a good 2-3hours. Booking is required but isn't a problem, parking is. The plaza has limited space often requiring you to leave your car keys and the alternative parking space isn't any better being across the road limited to one floor and minimal 2hr parking. Overall this is no fault of the shop just...
