Nan Kok — Restaurant in Kowloon

There are two dishes that are quite good, especially the "Fermented Bean Curd Scallops Fettuccine," which has a unique flavor. However, I'm not particularly fond of sergestid shrimp, so it would be better if it was omitted.❤️💔

The "Foie Gras Terrine Sourdough Toast with Thai Mango Chutney" has a distinctive taste, with the combination of the sourness of the mango and the flavor of the foie gras, creating a salty yet tangy experience.🩷

The "M4 Wagyu Beef Petite Tender" has a strong beef flavor, although the sauce doesn't stand out much. This dish is not particularly memorable.💔

The iced chocolate is delicious, but the hot chocolate is rather weak in flavor. However, after providing feedback, the server kindly added some chocolate powder, for which I am extremely grateful. The server even went the extra mile to create a beautiful latte art for me. It looked amazing!💯💯💯

Furthermore, the male server's (or perhaps the owner's? I'm not entirely sure) attitude was excellent and worthy of appreciation.❤️

One thing I hope could be improved is that there were bread crumbs on the chairs, and there were also instances of flies in the restaurant. It would be even better if these issues were...

Thanks to the 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, cafe hunting in 𝘬𝘭𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘵 is much easier now 🥳 there’s so many cool cafes around the area & we went to one that’s really near the mtr @nankokhk w/ a 𝕣𝕖𝕥𝕣𝕠 𝕠𝕝𝕕-𝕙𝕠𝕟𝕘𝕜𝕠𝕟𝕘 vibe 🎥

Their food options are also quite unique, the 𝔽𝕖𝕣𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝔹𝕖𝕒𝕟 ℂ𝕦𝕣𝕕 𝕋𝕒𝕘𝕝𝕚𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕖 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕊𝕔𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕠𝕡𝕤 took me by surprise as the 𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗱 actually 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘶𝘤𝘦 🤯 went on a weekend afternoon and much of their dessert options were sold out already 😢 guess I’ll have to try their 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 another time 🤤

An antique hardware store is revitalised into a cafe, keeping most of the old times design while converting it into a cafe. The vibe is relaxing and comfy. I enjoyed the breakfast at the cafe. Ordered a veggie brekkie and a latte on the breakfast menu. The portion is huge and my favourite is cherry tomato and sautéed mushroom, as well as the mini yogurt. The sourdough is grilled to golden yellow and paired with halloumi cheese, very fragrant and crispy indeed. If the eggs could be more eggy and soft, it will be a perfect veggie all day breakfast.
