Origami Kids Cafe — Restaurant in Kowloon

I came for kids play date birthday party. The food served were very good. Chinese style, very professionally done. Not sure if it’s needs pre order food or not but looking at presentation, seems it’s set lunch or dinner. Adults and Kids have their own portions and plates including appetizers main and soup plus drinks.

However for playroom experience, it’s pretty narrow and limited. So don’t expect it’s gonna be as large as your clubhouse experience. It just had enough stuff for couple of kids play around and enjoy while parents can have a nice meal next to them. I think it’s mainly for very young kids.

Overall, not bad to parents of 2 years old. If it’s my elder daughter, she won’t enjoy.

Food is so so, but pricey for the portion. They charge $198 for a child not including food. The playground and toys are adequate for kids to play for perhaps 3 and under. The only reason I give two stars is they fail to enforce any mask rules in the playground area. Given the pandemic, the playground should have strict rules like other indoor playground as there are toddlers and kids playing and touching everything. When I was there, some adults and kids were at the playground without masks, some kids were being spoon fed by an adult in the playground. The playing area surrounds the dining area, so imagine kids and adults running right beside your table without any mask while you're eating...

It was a pretty disappointing experience overall!

While the food was quite decent for both adults and kids, the staff were impatient and passive-aggressive most of the time. Announcements were made every 10 minutes to remind customers to pack and leave in the last 30 minutes of the session. Staff also made passive-aggressive comments regarding time on top of those announcements.

The play area has a good variety of toys and equipment; however, the area is not child-proof well, with minimal protective padding on sharp edges.
