Sinbad Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Kowloon

To my surprise, Kwun Tong Promenade wasn’t as busy as I expected on this breezy and sunny Sunday, and it was actually perfect to enjoy the superb autumn weather with a cup of coffee.

Located under the bridge, Sinbad Coffee Roasters faces industrial buildings instead of the waterfront. Nevertheless, you still get to enjoy a nice view of pets and blue sky.

The cup of Flat White I got was decent, at least it’s not a milky latter nor foamy cappuccino. Fair enough with a balance of aromatic coffee and smooth milk. No complain. A perfect place to chill with a book...

There are several coffee shops around Happy Valley Grounds South Entrance at Wong Nai Chung Rd and Blue Pool Rd including Sinbad Coffee Roasters. They have a few indoor tables and do take-away as well. Plenty of spots in the public seating area just outside to grab a seat out in the open as well. Opening hours are 8am to 9pm daily.

Grabbed a piccolo here recently. Espresso blended with the milk well and the white coffee tasted as expected. Service was friendly and timely, prices what you expect of a small artisan...

Found this place a few months ago and have been loving coming here for coffee and a chat with the baristas. Always a pleasant experience. Coffee is delicious, admittedly I’m not a coffee snob, so nothing for me to complain.
