First time and (I guess my last) at this stadium since the HK 7s is moving to a new venue from 2025. I was surprised at how outdated the facilities were especially the ladies bathrooms - kind of felt like I had stepped back in time and flushing never seemed to work. The condition of the ladies bathrooms in the upper stands were better but still not as modern as I thought they would be. The infrastructure around the stadium is also not ideal particularly the roads and sidewalks being too narrow in need of expansion and general improvement. I guess it was about time that the 7s moves to a new venue given that it is an international event the standard of venue needs to be at the same level. A lot of the stadium staff weren't very clued up on the stadium layout and general event info. Spectators were basically walking amongst kegs of beer and staff loading and off loading equipment and stock - quite an obvious safety hazard as staff should be placing equipment and stock out of sight and therefore, out of the spectator areas. No game screens in the food and drink areas. I really liked that there were drinking fountains (although more of these were needed). Also like that there were escalators to get to the upper stands. I'm not sure if there were lifts as I didn't see any so not sure how accessible the stadium is. Great location as it is just a 12 minute walk from the Causeway Bay train station. The only downside is that it is mostly an uphill walk so taking into account the humidity as well it basically became a work out for me for the 3 days but this wasn't a bad thing at all. Quite a nice view of the city in the evening walking down from the upper stands.

Came here to watch the Hong Kong FIFA qualifiers. Very crowded walk from Causeway Bay MTR and suggest all to come 1hr earlier to avoid the crowd. There are fast food and beer inside the stadium for takeaway and you can’t bring food and water into the stadium. You will need to empty your water bottle and leave it outside then collect after the game is done. Otherwise, the atmosphere is good and remember to wear a red shirt if you are supporting the Hong Kong team.

Was there for Rugby 7s and the stadium was great. 4 stars? Yeah, I didn't like the securities and crowd control. They took away my empty plastic food container (Tupperware). I guess they didn't want you to carry leftover foods around. Traffic was horrible. They should have better signs for those who walked from Causeway Bay MTR. Foods were horrible. Whether you bought downstairs with the plebes or free upstairs with executive pass.

The rugby sevens tournament is held here, as far I’m aware for the past forty four years. The food here is of very poor quality and is over four times more expensive from normal food outlets. You could bring your food, but they require all food to be in plastic bags or aluminium foil and they check you bags upon entry. Not only is the food really expensive, but the drinks cost a fortune too! Also there are very few water fountains you can use and the ones they have are often crowded. Glad to see them taking a small step to help the environment as they serve reusable cups for a ten dollar deposit which you can get refunded for on...

Given the location, access into the stadium is limited to the northern side so the entry gates get crowded and you will have to walk a long way if your seat is located towards the southern end of the stadium. Its location is also not very convenient as you normally need to walk all the way from Causeway Bay and back as there is hardly any other transport options nearby. The nearby roads are closed when there are major events for spectators to walk to the stadium. So you may be tired already by the time...
