Stayed in a King Executive Suite having managed to score an upgrade with an IHG Suite Upgrade Voucher. Wasn't really sure what to expect as I don't normally book such large/luxurious rooms but overall was really pleased with the room.||The suite itself was huge, divided neatly into two halves. One half had the bedroom and bathroom, whilst the other had a large sitting area, workspace and a second toilet for guests. This in particular I really appreciated as it meant you could have some friends around in your suite but they would never need to go into your personal bedroom/bathroom area. The decor was nice - perhaps not the most trendy or modern but certainly very comfortable and well lit.||The main bathroom had two basins (which I believe is the standard for such rooms) and the shower was good, with very little or no water leaking out of the shower cubicle. One minor criticism is that the secondary toilet didn't have any hand towels provided, which might make it a bit awkward if someone uses the toilet and then realises they can't dry their hands afterwards...||The workspace was good, and there were plenty of sockets in the suite for charging. I liked that there was an instant hot water dispenser provided in the room with instructions provided, which takes away the question of whether the tap water is drinkable or not! Likewise there was a Nespresso coffee machine too which looked good.||All the usual amenities like slippers etc. were provided as one would expect.||The bed was really comfortable and I had no problem getting a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was perhaps slightly temperamental when you adjusted the temperature, but at least it definitely worked! The view over Happy Valley racecourse was stunning, although the controls to close the curtains were fiddly to use and required some trial and error as there were no instructions available.||The service was fine and unremarkable (not a bad thing of course!), but the housekeeping were attentive. One morning, when they noticed the do not disturb sign on the door, they left a note outside saying they had come do housekeeping but obviously hadn't entered, and that I could call reception to get them to come back later. The wifi was quite fast and the hotel gym was OK.||Location was excellent, a 5 minute walk from the MTR and numerous shopping centres/eateries nearby in the bustling Causeway Bay area. You couldn't really ask for a better location in my opinion. The room was quiet and well soundproofed at night though.||Overall a really good stay and I wouldn't hesitate to...
Read moreThe whole stay was very good, comfortable, with good and unobtrusive service, most comfortable bed, quality pillows, well equipped, very clean, Staff attentive, had a nice view over the Happy Valley Race Course, and other facilities on the side of it, very easy access to the Metro, shopping centres, room was spacious, good lighting, easy access to the 28th floor's Executive Lounge.
But few constructive comments which the Management should address at this quality Hotel;
1/ when bringing fruits to the bedroom, please make sure there are knife and napkin/serviette brought in, too
2/ complementary btl water, for Members should be a MUST
3/ quality of breakfast and selection was of very good quality except
4/ lack of freshly squeezed orange juice
5/ quality of bread very poor, and in some cases "probably" reheated from frozen. Next to the Hotel there is a very good quality Truffle Bakery, from where, if the Hotel had a contract, fresh brad/bakery can be obtained, and with the quantity used the Hotel no doubt can have a very good discount
6/ one very important observation was the fact that part of the breakfast room was started being laid up for lunch FAR TOO EARLY, while customers are still enjoying easy going/relaxed breakfast. one felt very rushed and uncomfortable. I do appreciate that you have busy lunch looking ahead to but with the number of Staff on duty, preparing for lunch should not take you too long. On two occasions lunch was being laid at 10.11am and 10.15am respectively. Myself, I felt uncomfortable and unnecessary rushed.
There must be a different system which the Management can adapt.
I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza Warsaw at the beginning of January 2025, from the 2nd till the 6th, and all above mentioned was perfect and made me feel relaxed and comfortable, where I almost could saty in the breakfast room completely uninterrupted.
Please take this as not a criticism but as a constructive advice.
I am Hotel and Catering Hotel and Management College graduate and worked at the Crowne Plaza Manchester UK as a Food and Beverage Services Manager (1998 - 2004) and am well adhere with the hotel services.
With thanks and best regards

Read moreTravelled to HK with my wife and 8m old bb and arrived in the evening and was super tired. Booked a deluxe room and the room had some hardware issues and I was totally too tired to complain that night. The standing shower door could not be opened, the stopper in the bathtub could not hold water when we tried to bath our bb. Luckily the bathtub had a shower head.
Next morning called down the the reception to feedback, Duty Manager Leo came with the Duty Tech and tried to resolve the issues. They did the best they could and was very helpful, told Duty Manager Leo no need to rush as I would like to book an additional room and if there was any connecting rooms available.
DM Leo had made the arrangements of a connecting room for us on the 17th floor and upgraded to the racecourse view. An hour later we were in the new rooms. New rooms were great! The design of the washroom was great and spacious, with a separate standing shower and bathtub. We were lucky to be there during the Happy Valley International Jockey Challenge and witnessed fireworks at the race course from our window. View was awesome (see the pictures) I would recommend getting the race course view rooms. Room were spacious compared to other hotels in HK and location was fantastic, right behind Times Square at CWB, eateries and 7-11 just across the road, easy access to everything.
Having a bath on Wednesday and watching the Happy Valley race course with fireworks was a great feeling and truly memorable.
Swift service recovery and made our trip, commend Duty Manager Leo and his team. Also a big thank you to Benedict Chan from reservations for always replying my email promptly. All the staff was very helpful and friendly, from the concierge to the housekeeping, keep up the good work. Initially I would not think of returning to this hotel but with the enthusiasm and hardwork of all the staff there I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to...
