Happy Valley Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Warm, cozy looking bar close to Happy Valley terminus. Plenty of beers and ales on tap plus wines and alcohol. A fairly large menu of pub classics plus great sandwiches, burgers and steak. There are a couple of tables outside as well in case you find the interior a bit cramped. It's a nice place to hang out with your friends and watch a game and staff is cheerful, prompt and on the ball. Prices are competitive; a couple of rounds of drinks plus mains for 2 should cost you around...

One of my canteens in Happy Valley for many years. I have narrowed down the menu to a British Breakfast, Scotch Egg (one of only a handful of places in HK that does a decent one) or spaghetti meatballs (not traditional by a long shot but still comforting). The salads and wider pasta selection are always good and the Belgian beer list still remains impressive after the last 6 odd years of visiting.

Decent spot to grab a drink after a long walk on Bowen Road. This American style bar and restaurant has lots of typical bar food items like burgers and wings. Got the popcorn shrimp and fries and washed it down with a pint of Leffe blond. They have an ok selection of draft beers and full bar with spirits and wine.
