A restaurant in Kunming’s Old Town selling local dishes. There are outdoor seats and upstairs dining area, each offering aesthetically pleasing views. Food prices are surprisingly reasonable.

The food in the tray was quite special which includes both sweet and savoury items. The fried chicken, potato and fried tofu were tasty. The dumpling soup was delicious too. Fried rice was average. The portion was quite large for us.

One downside is the tables upstairs are mostly uncleared. Dishes from previous customers left on most...

Our favourites were the tangyuan (rice balls) and é„”ć— a kind of flat, flour based noodle?). They also sell full sized mains (like soy bean noodles, etc)
