Portuguese Bakery is a relatively new and promising place in Macau. It is located along the narrow Beco do Sal which splits from Rua da Praia Manduco (hawker Street). Opening hours are 8am to 7pm daily (closed Mondays).
Stopped here recently for Portuguese style tart and espresso (MOP22). Espresso was mild but fine. Tart filling looser and somewhat runny compared to what you find at famous places like Lord Stows and Margaret's. Taste was ok. More enjoyed was the chorizo bread, which was baked well with good chorizo filling. I also liked their chocolate crinkles. It was soft, moist and not too sweet, a good afternoon snack.
Overall, I've liked the products tried at Portuguese Bakery. Sadly their location is a bit tricky to find. MGTO city map of Macau won't help much unfortunately. Best to use google maps on your mobile device if you want to...
