Cafe Alley — Restaurant in Sai Kung District

Chillaxing in Sai Kung before heading to Tseung Kwun O for dinner, I visited Cafe Alley for a coffee and a seat to read a book to kill time.

I got myself a cup of Flat White. I thought about getting a small one at the beginning, as I didn’t want too much caffeine in the late afternoon. But since I had more than an hour to kill, I decided to get a large one for HKD$4 more.

And it was a huge cup of coffee! I almost wowed when it was served!

Nevertheless, it’s a nice cup of coffee. Aromatic and smooth, and it’s not overly milky. I was told that this large Flat White contains two shots of coffee. Good lord! And it took me more than an hour to finish it, haha,...

This is a simple little cafe on Hoi Pong Street in the back of Sai Kung Village. They have a straight forward menu with sandwiches, salad & quiches, pasta and all day breakfast and omelettes along with a fair range of drinks. Enough seating indoors for around 8-10 people along with a few outdoor seats as well. Service is very friendly and timely.

Had a quick lunch here recently, enjoying their Spanish ham, avocado & cheese sandwich served toasty style. Ordered a Coffee with soda water, everything was reasonably priced and tasted just fine, just quick and simple food and drinks which at times is just what you are...

Small and charming cafe in the quieter part of Sai Kung. We ordered the pear cheesecake, flat white and long black. The cheesecake is light with thin cake base instead of cookie crust which is quite unique. Goes well with the freshness of the pear. The flat white is comforting and smooth, nice latte art too! The long black was a bit too bitter for me halfway through, had to wait for the ice to dilute it down. The interior is very charming but small, though they have a couple seats...
