#toast — warm bread in sai kung is much loved online and locally for their seafood pumpkin bisque. i went all the way to sai kung for a cafe hunting day and had to make a stop here (make sure to check their opening days online before going as it can change).
flavor is salty in a salt water reminiscent way- almost want to say “taste of the sea” which is interesting. bread is very crunchy! it took around 15-20 minutes to prepare the soup and meal so make sure you’re ready for the wait in case you’re hungry.
interior is quite minimal with small, cute decorations. there are around 10-15 seats inside the store :)
