Sleepless — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

The service at this place was god awful. It promises 90 minutes of dining time but I was asked to leave within an hour. Further, when I asked to pay with a card, they said they can only arrange for that when the bill is over $250. Yet when I asked to order more to cover the missing $43, I was asked to get more takeout (if I could be eating takeout somewhere instead, why would I be here having my Zoom meeting?) Eventually settled the bill over PayMe, which I had to teach them how to use. I just find it baffling that they brand themselves to be a “sleepless” cafe but customers get asked to leave within an hour because they want a quicker table turnover. Not saying it’s a given right that people are given space at cafes to get work done but isn’t that the idea? Plus they tried to give me attitude when I asked for a singles table instead to not take up...

Saw they made Latte Art so came to try it, and was feeling hungry so also ordered the Mixed Berries Honey French Croffle with Ice Cream.

Latte Art - 1/5 stars - I ordered hot chocolate for my late art and it was barely warm. It didn't even taste like hot chocolate more like etremely watered down with a hint of chocolate flavor. The foam art is very cute.

Mixed Berries Honey French Croffle with Ice Cream - 2/5 stars - the croffle, cream, and ice cream was very good. But they put too much honey making it too sweet to eat. We also appreciated that they were willing to separate the fruit out as I'm allergic.

Service - The workers are great and answer any questions.

The interior is nice and cozy and cute.

Overall, nice place to sit and chat, but the drinks and food need...

Coffee is super cute. But opening times annoyed me. Wanted to go a second and third time during our HK stay. Second time it was closed (before official closing time so we went all the way there for a closed door), third time (last day in HK) we actually specially waited in the area until 12 (opening time according to their door) - still closed. Waited till 12.30 (opening time according to google maps) - now open but got sent out again because "opening 'around' 1pm". So only go there if you happen to be around Causeway Bay during the afternoon anyway, don't depend on their...
