agree with the other local guide that the location (pin) showing on the map is wrong, but there isn't anywhere to make correction on google map, what a pity. it's down the next block at the corner - in Xintiandi Style I, 2/f. easily been spotted out on the street. Xiaolungbao was as good, i usually have the tradition pork one but this time tried the one with fish. but i think the pork flavour still strongly dominant. the fried pork chop is another food that i must eat here everytime. however i think both were a bit salty this time. there wasn't much locals here, only a few tables with foreigners and hongkongers. wonder if it's no longer liked by the locals? if so, any good xiaolongbao that could recommend...

Don't believe the hype... People love Din Tai Fung, but the quality is very inconsistent, and there are much better places to get XLB in Shanghai. If you want high end XLB go to Crystal Jade Garden nearby. Otherwise enjoy exploring Shanghai's historical XLB gems.

Din Tai Fung XLB didn't have a good soup ratio, and the meat was too dense and chewy. The flavor was overpowered by ginger and the skin was too dry and too sticky and stiff for it to have a nice soft...

The location shows on google map is not right. It’s pretty simple actually, just at Xintiandi Style 1 mall, 2nd floor. Always love their xiao long bao, any version are great, today we tried the one with truffle and also delicious. Waiting time is good, waiters are polite and friendly altho very limited in English.
