Shake Shack in Shanghai is in a fantastic location, ideal for exploring the area—there’s even an occasional free concert nearby, which adds to the experience. The food was amazing, and as a first-time visitor to Shake Shack, I have to say it takes the top spot for fast-food burgers. I highly recommend ordering the cheese sauce to pour over the French fries—it’s a perfect addition. I tried the cheeseburger with bacon and avocado, and loved how the avocado balanced the richness of the bacon and burger.

Literally the worst burger I've ever had. 123 RMB for one classic burger, one fries and one Ale. The burger is smaller than McDonald's big Mac, by default comes only with one beef, bread is really sticky and tastes weird. Fries are wasted, such well cooked but not salted, and it is only served with ketchup or mustard, no mayo, no BBQ sauce. Beer is just mediocre, a little better than beer in supermarket, far worse than Paulaner which just sits opposite of it. Really, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I cannot deny it. This is the best burger I have ever eaten. I was just busy savoring my Double ShackBurger, Peanut Butter Milkshake, Crickle-Cut Fries, and Shack Attack. Even with the large crowd of people looking for seats, and staring at you if you are almost done eating, none of that matters as long as you've got your Double ShackBurger. I'm already a regular here.

It's always full of people, i think because the burger itself is really special. It's worth it. The taste is unique and delicious. Not only the burger, but you have to try the fries and also the smoothies. The waiters are friendly and helpful. Would love to come back again to enjoy the burger and xintiandi!

Very tasty and juicy burgers and very milky milkshake at a price, it s so popular that it is impossible to find seat as people usually try to hang around for too long at this supposed to be fast food burger joint. However they do provide good meat indeed.
