Even though google maps is restricted in China, the bar is located correctly and worth a visit! This is one of four Shingo Gokan’s cocktail bars in Shanghai. And you can see his signature everywhere (glasses, liquor, pictures etc). Atmosphere 9/10 Creative concept in retro-arcade style. Very strong play with neon lights (in a good way) and gaming elements. Various seating options, including 2 balconies, overseeing the promenade and nice views of the city. Bar was founded by two world renowned mixologists Shingo Gokan (owner SG group, Sip & Guzzle, SG Tavern, etc) and Steve Schneider (owner Employees only). Both gave the bar their own signature details, creating the unique “odd couple” vibe Drinks 8/10 Recommendation: Speak Loud (Shinto’s award winning rum-milk tea), Midnight coffee vesper Creative menu with signature drinks from both owners. Unique high quality glasses for the drinks and super cool coasters. Speak Loud is a unique take on a milk tea with boba, mixing it with rum - I liked it. Midnight coffee vesper is similar to an Espresso Martini and tastes great. Mr Miyagi is a Negroni style drink, almost without any bitterness - was great too. Service 9/10 Friendly and attentive team. Bartender is very knowledgeable and talkative - making it fun to stay. Water served on the spot. Prices are above average for Shanghai. Came here on recommendation. What a VIBE. Best Aperol spritz I’ve had in China 🇨🇳 - 5/5 THE MIXOLOGISTS are so lovely; friendly and make delicious recommendations. The NY sours was a winnnn! The 80s playlist is life. Didn’t eat but the nibbles looked good. And I digged the decor a lot. Come through youth.

Amazing fun 80’s bar. Bartenders (Dre and Nana) were very friendly and fun to talk to. I had the 1.21 Gigawatts and Hello, McFly which were both great. We went in a bit early before it opened (it opens at 6pm) but they were ready and welcomed us. Definitely will come back again.

Amazing fun 80’s bar. Bartenders (Dre and Nana) were very friendly and fun to talk to. I had the 1.21 Gigawatts and Hello, McFly which were both great. We went in a bit early before it opened (it opens at 6pm) but they were ready and welcomed us. Definitely will come back again.
