A wonderful cafe inside an old house in the French Concession in Shanghai, just north of the former residences of Sun Yat-sen and Zhou Enlai and down the street from the north-west exit of Fuxing Park. You can sit outside in the back courtyard when weather permits. The place is filled with antiques and old junk, almost all of it for sale. How about a hand mirror with a cigarette ad on the back? Go upstairs to see the details of the post-and-beam...

Unexpected find! Cozy, quaint and not commercial. Room dividers zig and zag, giving the guests a spot of privacy. Variety of menu options, great libation options along with wine. Service is so so, but it's a genuinely curated...
