This is probably one of my favorite coffee shops (and of course, bagel spots) in Shanghai. I probably started most of my mornings at Boom Boom Bagels with a great mozzarella bagel and an Americano. The place is stylish and cool. The coffee is great, the bagels are equally great and tasty, the people working there are great and just an awesome place overall. Local / expats tips: 1) On weekends you'll have to wait for a free seat (definitely worth it). 2) You can build your own bagels (that's what I did). 3) If you see Dodo and Burrito (the dogs) - it's your lucky day!

I was waking in the street and I saw this « Boom Boom Bagel » restaurant which took my attention. The next day I tried a bagel and oh boy!!!! It was so so good!! It came heated, every ingredient was tasteful!! The atmosphere inside the place is very nice, with good music, the service is excellent, the food comes quickly. I also took a Pumpkin coffee with whipped cream on top, perfect for the season!! I am very enthusiastic about this place and will visit another time for sure! If you love bagels, then do not wait any longer to try theirs!!

Five stars despite a very rude Sunday morning staff member (in photo at cash register). We love this place and the bagels are delicious! They also do afternoon cocktails; also top notch. Morning staff have been hit and miss in terms of customer service, but the recent (June/July 2019) Sunday morning crew leaves a lot to be desired. Quite rude.

I havent had a bagel this good for a very long long time. Almost cried. Remind me how much I miss my college day pass with bagels. Try this for almost authentic NY bagel. Soo sooo good. Very nice service from the ladies. Maybe I am lucky😛

Mind blown. Had the pulled pork bagel and it was absolutely perfect. Bagel is nice and chewy with crispy bits. The parmesan one was nicely cheesy. All ingredients were quality and flavoured well. I'm definitely coming back

I’m quite a big fan of this place. Fair prices (for Shanghai) and tasty bagels, maybe not 100% American but they still remain me of the ones I’ve had back in New York! 🥯🥯
