Enjoyed this over another chain of shops named XY.

Mechanical emotionless cashier takes my order and verbally directs me to the 2 different food pick up points.

Preferred the meat dumplings over the crab roe infused ones. Must remember to do as the locals do, drench these babies in the local special vinegar before popping them into the mouth. 3mm thick pork chops overly breaded and fried to a crisp has the locally brewed worcestershire soya sauce to thank. Favourite part of the meal, little pork dumpling's soup. Concocted from pork lard, MSG, spring onion poured over with boiling hot cooking liquid... Mmmmm

This place is a popular spot, and crowded... but man it's worth it.

Of all the places we went this SJB had the best filling. Full of pork flavor and just the right amount of smokey sweetness. It subtly reminded me a little of the flavors of kentucky bbq sauce. The only demerit was that it was a little too thick and doughy for my liking... but that's me nit picking, hands down you must try this place. The curry beef soup was very light and refreshing, mostly broth, and loaded with cilantro. It's great on a cold day as a side...

Pan Fried Crab Meat Double Combo, Old Shanghai Three Silk Spring Roll and Large Vegetable and Meat Wontons .
