Mammamia Trattoria Pizzeria — Restaurant in Shanghai

Positive: Cozy and warm ambient, friendly and efficient staff, good wine (even though we ordered a sparkling one and we had it still). Negative: Definitely the food. We had a pizza margherita too acqueous, generally tasteless but particularly acid (the tomato sauce wasn't handmade and way too much). Same for the parmigiana di melanzane. When I asked why there was so much tomato sauce the italian guy said it was to let it less dried after reheating. It doesn't taste at all like italian food. Pizza is awful. I have given this place a good go. Been here 10 times. I have sent back numerous pizzas. Always swimming in water. Today is the last time. A pizza sitting in a plate of water and completely under cooked. I asked prior please don’t give me a Pizza swimming in water. Not good enough.

first of all, it says there is a deal 128Y for antipasto, pizza (and all you can eat) and 1 beer..... but then when you want to choose your pizza the waiter tells you that you cannot choose, it is up to the chef's choice!
