Vision 8 — Restaurant in Tsuen Wan District

I have heard a lot of good reviews about this restaurant for western food. They have been around for many years with high volume of recommendations, due to the chief used to work at a hotel. Today, I brought my friend to here to enjoy a good meal. the environment is quite cozy and have a lot of good options provided. at the end, we picked two soups they recommended follow by their house made bread. both soup was definitely above standard as it was made with heart, onion soup was made in the traditional way and lobster soup also had a lot of meat in it. we were surprised by the quality of the bread and soup already. For main courses, we picked angus steak and scallops pasta with creamy sauce and mushroom. again, the pasta tasted delicious with three big pieces of scallops which are fresh and the portion was so big that we couldn’t finish it.the steak then arrived, we choose medium rare, which was a perfect choice. The side dishes with the steak was yummy too, especially the cheese potatoes! the presentation was nice and ingredients are fresh. perfect medium rare which the beef was very juicy and perfect for sharing between the two of us. Overall, we are not disappointed by the meal and was very surprised by its quality. They should deserve more attention and next time will definitely try their home made...

Had dinner with Vision 8 on a Monday evening and enjoyed every dish.

They generously refilled our bread basket before our mains are ready and we are delighted to find the breads are warm and toasty. I especially liked the lightly toasted bread (not sure what is the actual name for that dinner roll).

We ordered the scallops cream pasta, cheese pizza and slow cooked tenderloin with foie gras to share. I personally enjoyed the pasta the most but the other two are also nicely prepared.

A place worth trying if you are in the middle for some western food while...

曾住過七、八年荃灣區的我 兆和街對我來說簡直瞭若指掌 各式各樣的餐廳都有 不過從我搬出媽媽家後 兆和街新開的餐廳都還有時間去試看看

就藉著「山竹」攻進的前一晚 跑到荃灣一試究竟啦 （因為現在住的地方我很近荃灣） 位於兆和街的Vision 8是義式餐廳 pizza、pasta、soup一定少不了

不過真的最想說 這裡的漂亮服務生也太親切了吧 感覺好像認識很久一樣 先會推薦餐廳必吃那道菜 還會留意著那杯水、時刻幫你添水 這樣的服務讓我的心情跟著爽起來 畢竟獅子座很吃這一套（偷笑）

是日餐湯-南瓜濃湯 跟餐每人+$45 味道偏濃 服務生小姐 送餐時都會問每一道菜 你需不需要再加調料 像湯TerrGor就要了Black Pepper 使得整體感很完整 不會覺得喝完 好像不知道喝了什麼 這完南瓜湯的份量也很多 我幾乎喝了半碗左右 就真的喝不下啦

這粒餐包的份量也是超「實在」 套句小S說的話：「吃完就 YES SIR！」 意思是很厚實、完全沒有偷工減料的包 而且看得出是健康麥包的材料 對於能吃的人Vision 8絕對是你們的大福音 （我決定下次帶我那個 怎麼也吃不飽的朋友去吃吃看）

服務生小姐還給我們貼心推薦了 黑松露薯條 $48 說是很多人都覺得超棒棒的 服務生小姐送上來時 著實嚇了我一跳 這份量⋯也太多了吧 剛剛的湯和包我都已經快飽了 不過薯條剛炸起 每一條都有均勻地裹上少許鹽 再灑上黑松露粉 更邪惡的是還附送一小碟黑松露美乃滋 我的天，就這樣我就成了薯條的傀儡

再來是-白酒煮紐西蘭大蜆 $168 白酒的香氣貫徹了整隻大蜆 放在口中都還沒要下去 那個酒香四溢充斥著我整個鼻腔及口腔 但最神奇的是 紐西蘭大蜆的鮮味並沒有被蓋過

真的是「粒粒皆飽滿」 一粒接一粒 之後和TerrGor搶著吃 還好他很愛我 就分給我了（笑死我了）

吃了這麼多 終於主餐要來了 TerrGor愛吃羊 所以他點了一客紐西蘭T骨羊架 $198 5成熟的搭配紅酒汁 端上來時就聞聞陣陣烤羊香氣 但對於怕膻味的我就另作參考了 厚切的羊雖然吸引 但我只能吃配菜 新薯、火箭菜、小椰菜和車厘茄 搭配醬汁也好吃 羊扒大大件 脂肪分配平均 TerrGor稱讚口感一流

我則選了扒大虎蝦配龍蝦汁燴天使麵伴沙律 $178 首先先說一下 如果有在下廚 特別是西餐的人都知道 Angel hair 看似容易 其實是最難掌控的 一不小心多個幾秒 就全都毀了 可是Vision 8的大廚掌控的剛剛好呀 線條分明、保留彈性 這隻大虎蝦更不用說了 肉質超有彈性 爽脆爽脆的

其實真的很飽、很飽了 TerrGor點了一杯Mocktail -The Vision 8 $48
