Booked a table for 4 on 1st Jan during pur stay in Villa de Leyva. It was easy to book, simply reach out to their WhatsApp contact number. I had to put down COP$100,000 to reserve our spot, it went down as credit to our final bill. No problems there. Very welcoming staff, our table was ready for us on time. First interaction with our waiter was outstanding, he knew very well the menu. Weird as it may sound, this is not very common in Colombia. Enough options to choose from. Starting with some beers and fruit juices, we then shared Yucca croquettes, longaniza and the Brie on toast as appetisers. They were well presented and tasty. All food was clearly fresh but the shredded parmeggiano on top of the croquettes. As mains we choose "arrechera" (low & slow cooked brisket), pollo borracho, pumpkin soup and Mediterranean salad. Arrechera was the winner I think. However, soup and salad were a good combination. We enjoyed a nice couple of hours during our visit. Nice to come back and try the remaining Mains from the menu. At COP$276k for a party of 4 (entrees, mains, one drink) we were very happy with our visit to Chuska Cocina

Food was delicious even when they advertise 350grams of tbone steak and you actually get 40-50grams of meat (everything else is fat and bone, if you advertise 350grams of tbone it should weight about 1 pound total), they should take it out of the menu or get a better pieces of meats, ordered the meat term rare/blue and got it 3/4... ordered half a bottle of aguardiente... it took 20 minutes to arrive in a half empty restaurant with 2 waitress, bleeh they can do way better. It's a nice cozy place, ambient is right, music was good. waitress were nice and respectful.

Went here due to the rave reviews but was left disappointed 😔. The service was definitely perfect, in fact, the server went the extra mile and that was something that made the experience very promising. So we began off with a starter, it was called Yuca something and sounded delicious but unfortunately it was very bland, no real taste at all... it needed 🧂 badly. After that we had the T-bone steak 🥩 and bbq pork dish. The T-bone was ordered medium rare but came out medium, it seems like they don't really do medium-rare (I had asked before ordering and they go blue then medium) so it was alright. The main issue I had was that the so called mango chimichurri was actually more of a mango pico de gallo. Chichichurri def does not have tomatoes in it.. 😞 and it seemed to be missing quite a bunch of key ingredients to a real chimichurri (vinegar, parsley, lemon..). The pork was pretty good and probably the only good plate but still, nothing to brag about. We also ordered a pitcher of Sangria which was decent. We both thought it was missing more of a "punch" to it, seemed a bit watery (maybe due to the amount of ice that melted during preparation). Prices were pretty good as well, not really cheap but not expensive either. So in the end, we both thought it was an ok restaurant with excellent service but definitely not what the overall reviews reflect.

We have had both diner and breakfast twice now. Breakfast is amazing and diner the same. We are in Villa de Leyva for vacation, but didn't expect such good food from a hotel Restaurant. It's pretty unheard of. Definitely one of the best burgers we have had... ever...and we have lived in Holland and New York City for most of our lives. We will definitely keep coming back our last few days here. A must go to, whenever you visit this amazing village. Muchos gracias!!! 🙏🙏

Im so happy to have stopped here! The food is very well executed and the presentation are always stylish. You can tell that the chef has a very high degree of knowledge on food and that he has traveled the world for his/her skill set! The waiters are very friendly but mostly very on point! You can tell they have a great passion and respect for their work. So pleasant to eat here its very a pleasure.

I cannot say enough nice things about this spot. Daniel and the team provided the best service and I love the atmosphere here. The food was the main star and shoutout to the kitchen. Wow. The arrerecherra main is a must and the med salad was made with so much love. I get why this place is so well reviewed. Will definitely be back. 10/10 recommend.
