Noa — Restaurant in Barranquilla

This place seen nice from the outside but service is HORRIBLE!!! I just make a trip from United States to celebrate my best friend birthday, because they supposed have a good service, the hostess let me wait 30 minutes to tell me I have to change my shorts I buy a new clothes on the boutique to the corner the waitress is slow and bad as the administrator and the air head hostess, after I buy my clothes I see several people with shorts and work uniform as nurses and doctors, what’s wrong with this people… they lose a good client and the possibility to reserve on a future they even did not apologize, 30 minutes wait for the drinks the we leave early after two drinks and one California roll, Cusco is much better, service and attentive waitress, definitely never again will come back to this place if I can give you zero star I will, NEVER COME BACK AT THIS...

Unfortunately this was not a great experience. Especially for the price.

This is the first time that I was visiting since they renovated the space, while the space looked a little bit more retro, it felt less intimate, less wam.

The service also was lackluster. It took us several minutes and numerous times asking the staff for them to get us a QR codes we could see the menu and for finally them to take our orders.

We also asked for a glasses of water, which they gave to us the first time, but upon asking for another, they refused, saying that we would need to buy a bottle. Barranquilla has free, potable tap water, so I find buying water to be unacceptable. As I write this, I am EXTREMELY thirsty, but on principle refuse to buy water (especially after dropping good money on drinks).

The food itself also was meh. It seems the quality was not the same from when I last visited pre-renovations. The shredded crab salad was delicious, but the sushi rolls were very heavy on the creams and sauces—taking away from taste of the underlying fish. The drinks were also sickeningly sweet.

For being one of the most expensive sushi restaurants in Barranquilla that I’ve ever been to, the service, food, and drink did not live up to expectations.

El servicio tampoco fue bueno. Estuvimos mucho tiempo esperando un código QR para ver el menú, y tuvimos que pedirlo varias veces.

Pedimos unos vasos de agua de la casa y nos trajeron sin problema, pero cuando pedimos otro, nos dijeron que tendríamos que comprar una botella de agua. Barranquilla cuenta con agua potable y gratis, así que evito comprar agua innecesariamente. Mientras escribo esta reseña, sigo con sed.

La comida tampoco estuvo muy buena. Parece que la calidad disminuyó después de las renovaciones.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! The food was fine. The decor, atmosphere, and ambiance was good. The Service was horrible, terrible, very bad. My friend, his fiance, and myself placed our order at the same time. My friend and I ordered steaks. After about 1 hour, we called our waiter to our table to ask why the long wait. The restaurant was nearly empty. So that was not an excuse. Also, our waiter never came back to check on us while we were waiting for 1 hour and didn't apologize for the extremely long wait. While waiting for 1 hour, we ordered drinks which took them 20 minutes for them to bring. Again, the restaurant was basically empty. So there no valid reason for this extremely long wait and...
