I live in hotels. And this has been one of my worst experiences.
From bad attitude at the check in. To basically constant harassment during the stay. My friends sister came to meet with us. They watched us on the cameras and started phoning us telling us she had to leave and we were all going to be thrown out was pretty outstanding for a 1 hour visit. And there is nothing in there rules about this. And it all could have been handled more professionally even if there is. To my girlfriend being given such a hard time she even as a registered guest would not come in.
The whole place smells strongly of mould and chlorine clearly terrible cleaning and an attempt to hide it.
My room was disgusting and dirty. A piece of the ceiling was falling down. Mould and crazy dirty brown stains. That I think are mould. To water free flowing down the walls. Pictures provided. And generally poor maintenance.
My friends room was worse. No AC and toilet water flowing through the apartment. They changed rooms a bunch. We were both in suites. And despite the hotel being empty they got downgraded. Nothing was done to look after them.
And to cap it all off at check out I was repeatedly charged on different machines being told it had "failed" and I had to do it again on another machine.

The staff were desperate for me to not do a review here and to complete their internal review.
The staff here where unbelievably UNPROFESSIONAL
There are many fantastic hotels here in...
Read moreI stayed there last week. They get 3 stars for the very attentive and helpful staff. The location is also great. You can find multiple restaurants within walking distance. There is a pharmacy and a mall right around the corner. Bars, coffee shops, grocery store, and the BBC (Bogota Beer Company) brewery, all within walking distance. The hotel is, however, NOT what it looks like online. The pictures are from probably a decade or more ago. The internet was spotty, so don't expect to get any serious work done using their internet, or even be able to FaceTime anyone for long. This hotel is now a run-down, the rooms were DIRTY and smelled like MOLD. I couldn't sleep on my first night there because of the strong odor of mold in the room. I switched room the next day, and the new room was better but still a bit moldy. It was also DIRTY. This hotel might have been a good place to stay in Barranquilla 10 or 15 years ago, but it is now badly in need of an upgrade. If I knew then what I know now, I would have probably paid a little bit more money and stay at a more decent place. I've seriously stayed at better Motel 6 and Super 8 hotels in the U.S. This place is NOT WORTH what they're charging. So yeah, if you're on a real tight budget and will only stay for a couple a days, then maybe. Otherwise, I'd pay a few more bucks to stay at a...
Read moreDuring one of the nights of our stay, I was sitting with my coworkers on the outdoor patio enjoying the atmosphere when the concierge approached us and made an unsolicited comment suggesting we should leave him a generous tip for all the work he does. Initially, we thought he was joking or trying to be playful, but the situation escalated when he later followed me into the restroom and repeated his request, saying he couldn’t afford clothes and needed money for new shoes.||||Before leaving, we placed approximately $20 USD (in local currency) on the table as a tip. However, the same concierge later followed one of my coworkers into the elevator and up to his room on the 9th floor, again insisting that the tip was insufficient and demanding more money.||||This kind of behavior from a hotel staff member was extremely inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. It raises serious concerns about the professionalism and oversight of employees at this property, and we hope the management addresses it appropriately to ensure guest safety...
