This place used to be in Chapinero and it was called La Esquina Vegetariana. I remember the food being better at the other place but it was okay here. The meal of the day came with a bowl of garbanzo soup with vegetarian sausage. It also came with a glass of apple juice and ginger but the apple flavor was really overpowered by the ginger. Main plate included rice mixed with noodles and bits of soy protein, a mound of tomatoes, lettuce cucumber, and mashed fried plantain with tomato onion sauce on top. The meal just seemed to be too heavy on carbohydrates for me. I wish there had been more colorful vegetables on the plate such as broccoli, carrots, celery, anything. It also came with slices of fruit and a sweet sauce for dessert. As of September 2022 the meal of the day costs 17.000 pesos ... Unlike the reviews that we read here, the portions were really big! We had a big delicious soup with some bread, Lulu juice, and the main dish with rice, salad, chickpeas and soy sausages and 2 huge falafels.
