Mezzo Giorno — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

The place is amazing so charming and cuzzy, it's like stepping into a historic building full of vibes. The decor is so alive and impregnated with energy. Authentic Italian cuisine, the pasta unbelievable, took me back to the times I used to live in Italy and brought back special memories of my Nonna when she would tell me "Mangia tutto perché I'ho preparato con amore" The wine was decadent just like in Italy. Bere buon vino con buon cibo in buona compagnia è uno dei piaceri più civili della vita. The gentleman who attended us was incredibly amicable and made us feel so comfortable like being at home. There is no doubt every time I'll be going back to Bogota I will enjoying the delicacies Mezzo Giorno...

A really cute spot for lunch with amazing service and cuisine. The food was spectacular and some of the best I’ve had in Bogotá.

The restaurant is located just across the street from the Hotel Tequedama. It’s in an old reliquary attached to the church.

Fuimos por la puntuación de Google y realmente nos sorprendió, la excelente atención, comida exquisita, lugar muy tranquilo, sencillo pero que cuida cada detalle decorativo representando su historia en pleno casco histórico de la ciudad. Risotto Mezzo Giorno, el mejor que he probado. Pedimos un postre de bizcocho de peras, con canela y helado, que no recuerdo el nombre pero es una delicia (dejen espacio para probar ese manjar de los Dioses)

Y finalmente agradecer a Rafael quien nos atendió muy bien, fue atento, no dió muchas cortesías como una flor, recuerdos y brindis de bienvenida, también nos contó sobre la historia de este lugar, además de sus recomendaciones del menú y la deliciosa comida.

Habíamos tenido malos días y sin duda fue un bálsamo para nuestro corazón la experiencia de comer...
