Legado restaurant is a hidden gem in Jardin. The food is lovely, and the dishes are super interesting. All ingredients are local, with many coming from Claudia and Leonardo's garden, including the tree tomatoes that were used for their amazing tomato juice. We had the braised beef (Posta Legado, if I recall correctly) which was absolutely fantastis. It reminded me of German Sauerbraten, but sweeter. The potato puree was incredibly flavorful and creamy. We also had the coffee chicken pasta, which was good, but with a somewhat overpowering coffee flavor. The chips (appetizer) and the sangria were lovely!

It's a two-person show, with Leonardo doing the cooking and Claudia doing everything else--and it is perfect. We'll...

A local recommended this place to me, and I decided to pop by based on the reviews. Claudia and Leonardo were so welcoming. Claudia took her time in explaining the menu, allowing for pauses so I could translate and also teaching me some Spanish along the way. I tried their artisanal pasta - passionfruit with mushrooms, what I thought was a strange combination that surprised me. Handmade pasta, fresh fruit juice and warm bread. Also the banana chips served as an amuse bouche. They also gave me a slice of chocolate cake! My only regret is that I tried this place on my last night and wasn’t able to return. If you’re looking for something different than the usual paisa meals, that’s made thoughtfully with love, be sure to try Legado! Muchas gracias...

Eating at Legado was by favourite dining experience during my trip in Colombia! The husband-wife team puts a lot of thought and love into the food they prepare (as well as the decor of the restaurant), which is also quite unique! I had the Lomo de cerdo with coffee sauce, and my friend had chicken breast in passion fruit sauce - both delicious! Both dishes came with delicious coconut rice and salad, and dessert was included as well for a very reasonable price. I should add that they have the best sangria I’ve ever had, too!

This is a small restaurant with just a few tables, but it’s a place you’ll easily stay for a couple of hours. Great choice for friends or couples to eat delicious food and drink...
