would love to love this place- the location is amazing and i live locally.. but there are some weird rules and often i have found the service rude so unfortunately i can’t recommend it. for starters, they close between 3-5. this seems like a very bad business decision as this is precisely the time boats are returning from private charters. to clarify, the restaurant downstairs is open 12-3pm for lunch. then the upstairs terrace doesn’t open until 5. so that leave prime, post-boat-day/sunset timeslot ..i would love to be able to suggest to the clients of my travel agency that they visit amare for a sunset drink upon arrival. so i think they are missing out. once we were already in the restaurant downstairs at 3pm having arrived at 2.30pm.. we planned to stay until sunset and meet friends, but we gotnkicjed iut at 3pm. and were told we had to wait 2 hours. that was when we first learned of their frustrating horario. another rule which is annoying personally is that, although our small dog is permitted in the upstairs terrace, the rule is that if you are accompanied by a pet, you are only permitted at the tables at the back of the restaurant, ie away from the view. the drinks here are fine. the food is extremely average. come for a drink 5 onwards and dont bring your pet .. arrive patient.. service is also slow. the view is very nice and the...

Careful. This place prepares juices with tab water , incredibly irresponsible and dangerous for customers. Ask three times as the answers are tricky. Waitress told us it what prepared with clean water, but it is not as she accepted later it was prepped with tab water. From a sanitary perspective I will inform local authorities. A pesar q es una TERRAZA PERFECTA el personal se esfuerza en hacer q la experiencia sea NEFASTA. Ayer 28 de diciembre 2023 fuimos 15 personas, todos familia y un niño de 5 años. Desde q llegamos y la Administeadora vio q íbamos con un niño comenzó el maltrato. No había mesa para 15 (claramente se puede unir unas mesas con otras) se le hizo la observación y dijo q TODO EL RESTAURANTE ESTABA RESRVADO. En ese momento una mesera hizo sentar a mi mamá (78 años) en una mesa y le dijo q entonces usáramos 2 mesas de 6 y q eso era lo único q podían ofrecer. Luego acercamos unas mesitas q están en la baranda q da hacia la bahía SIN UNIRLAS para poder hablar todos y nos hicieron parar de una manera GROSERA porque ahí solamente se podía CAMINAR. No nos fuimos porque mi mamá quería ver el atardecer. Pedimos 3 pizzas y entonces no había los sabores q queríamos, ni tampoco bebidas CON LIMON, en fin unos GROSEROS, que odian a los niños y sus familias. Tal vez solamente quieren gente q vaya a consumir Licor. Si su plan es disfrutar en familia NO VAYA A ESTE LUGAR. Será maltratado para q se vaya.
