Colapso Beach Rest x Pic4do´s Cafe — Restaurant in Bahía Ballena

Very sad experience, menu seemed promising. I ordered a flat white (definition: “minimal foam on top”) and was given a huge foamy unmixed cappuccino, coffee on the bottom and ~3 inches of foam on top.

I asked the waitress for clarification and showed her a picture of a flat white. She insisted “no, this a flat white, lots of foam! Maybe you want a latte?” … eventually she brought another coffee that was super mediocre tasting.

I didn’t drink either beverage, but she charged for both. I’d rather pay to avoid their coffee than drink it, but I would have appreciated a different service attitude.

Food was okay. Definitely left unfulfilled.

REPLY TO OWNER: The drink I received had 3 inches of foam on top, in a clear glass cup. That's not a "traditional flat white". A latte would have more foam than a flat white, not less. Please google search "flat white".

I didn't drink the 2nd drink that the waitress brought. I left it unfinished on the table. You're correct my friend drank the first drink rather than wasting it.

I'm not sure where you're getting these quotes from. That's not how I speak and I believe my voice here demonstrates that.

We own a restaurant in the area and love to support other places (we can only eat so many burgers, wings and milkshakes!) This was my 2nd time here and it was as good as the first (maybe better!) The first time I had the benny but the only feedback I had was it could have come with a side as it wasn't very filling (but I liked the sourdough bread base!) But for a lighter appetite it is great. This time I had the Griego wrap and it was HUGE and so good!! My husband had the breakfast wrap and he was also very happy with it. We both had drinks as well which were tasty. The mint mocha was such a nice touch for those who like mint chocolate items. Thank you for keeping the breakfast option open even at 1pm as we love it. Your Five Maes...

We stayed across the street for a couple weeks and it wasn't just the closest place for breakfast, it was the best! Everything on their menu is soooo fresh and good and delicious. Wonderful desayunos típico, delicious fruit smoothies and smoothie bowls, perfect coffee and a wide range of coffee drinks. Refreshing mint lemonade... yummy pasta dishes and more. Justin is so friendly and helpful too and the prices are good!...
