Chaman Mercadito — Restaurant in Cahuita

Drawn in by the atmosphere. Service was slow, with several staff eating around the bar. We ordered the Tacos de Lomito, and it was so bad, three hard shell tacos with beef chunks inside that were bathed in bbq sauce and haphazardly topped with mozzarella cheese. They came out looking like something I made for my mother in my easy bake oven almost 20 years ago. Fries were cold and bad. Salad was the only thing that was decent. Food cost way too much money for the inkling of pleasure we got from eating there.

Sorry aber die Kellner ignorieren einen konsequent... Als das essen endlich mal kam waren in unseren VEGETARISCHEN Nachos Fleisch... Die Pommes waren komplett kalt und der Burger nicht mehr warm. Als die Nachos endlich ersetzt waren sind weitere 30 min vergangen. Dazu nicht gerade billig, da kann man schon etwas Service erwarten. Außerdem waren auch nicht alle gerichte von der Karte verfügbar. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Lo siento pero los camareros te ignoran constantemente... Cuando por fin llegó la comida había carne en nuestros nachos VEGETARIANOS.... Las patatas fritas estaban completamente frías y la hamburguesa ya no estaba caliente. Cuando por fin sustituyeron los nachos, pasaron otros 30 minutos. No es precisamente barato, así que puedes esperar algo de servicio. Además, no todos los platos del menú estaban disponibles. Definitivamente no recomendable.

Sorry but the waiters consistently ignore you... When the food finally arrived there was meat in our VEGETARIAN nachos... The fries were completely cold and the burger was no longer warm. We had Chaman nachos, a passionfruit Daiquiri and a Chaman pasion. The Chaman pasion was good maybe a bit too sweet. The Passionfruit Daiquiri was large, but there was not the slightest taste of rum. The shredded meat on top of the nachos was cold and the "cheddar cheese" was some fake cheese sauce. Given the relatively steep pricing that's ridiculous. Definetly not...
