We stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, and were delighted with how clean, light, airy and pleasant this soda is. Service was swift, friendly and the kitchen demonstrated flexibility w/our request for veganized meals. We enjoyed our walk from Cocles to this soda, while en route to Punta Uva, and the location was easy to find and well recomended by several people and other businesses. The atmosphere was easy, the furniture comfortable and the food was memorable, fresh and super delicious. The vegan rice dish with tofu and vegetables came with salad and patacones (fried and mashed plantain) and I additionally LOVED the Arroz y Frijoles (rice and Beans) I also received a salad and some patacones. Lunch was tasty, filling and a perfect amount of food. We have plans to revisit the beach and I am counting down the days until we can return and try other items from the menu. This place is only open for breakfast and lunch, so you'll have to roll up before 4:00 pm to get spoiled. The prices are reasonable and the service is actually quite quick. It was a joy to visit this place! If you're anywhere near this...

Everything was beautifully plated and the food was delicious!!
Prices were great too. Much less than what we are paying at our resort. If we make it down this way again before we leave, we will...
Read moreWe had dinner here in the tourist shoulder season so it was quiet and the server was very friendly and attentive. The shrimp rice was delicious - our kids ate it up! - and the patacones here were much better than other area restaurants. Our kids loved meeting the restaurant's resident animals, Coco the dog and Canelo the kitten. One of our favorite memories from our time in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. I wished we had come on the weekend when...
