Bar Poás — Restaurant in Carmen

This is the nicest, most hospitable bar I've ever been in. I can't recommend them enough. We were walking home and walked right by the Poas Bar. We were looking for a local soda, not a bar. We stopped a fellow pedestrian (John) who happened to be on his way to the Poas Bar. He is a semi retired chef and highly recommended their BLT (with extra bacon 🥓). He was right, it was delicious 😋!!! They have a varied menu featuring fajitas, arroz con pollo, chili con carne, BLT, and more. The staff AND customers were beyond nice!!! They made us feel so welcomed. That stop made our walk home a delight. Like I said, we're not bar people; but we'll be back to the Poas Bar....
