Had to edit after last time I went. Old review was a 4. Now a 1. I went in November and liked it very much and staff was nice and attentive. Returned in December and after asking the man who wanted to seat us in the middle of a crowded area if we could be seated in front where there were a lot of empty tables, he reluctantly let us. We were than made to wait for our order to be taken after the 4 families that were seated after us. When the waiter came over finally he spoke very low behind his mask and when I indicated I could not hear him he half shouted. We ordered and ate but were ignored by the not busy at all wait staff after being served. Just as we finished a roach came running out from under the lazy suzan. I very calmly let the cashier know as I was paying and his response was, oh ok. He handed me my receipt and said, hopefully next time we get it right. Read moreAuthentic Cantonese cuisine in the heart of san jose, Costa Rica ! Costa Rica is a quite expensive country for accommodation and for food . Wongs doesnt fit the expensive cuisine mold thats very typical for Costa Rica, its reasonably priced and good !! I actually went there three nights in a row after i stumbled upon wongs. I ordered the shrimp wonton soup which was outstanding , super hearty and delicious shrimp wontons ! I also had the pork dimsum #19 which is pork and vegetables and its also scrumptious ! The jasmine tea is also spectacular. All these items are all reasonably priced . The service is fast and the attendants can all speak english and spanish. I would definitely recommend wongs restaurant even if you are not craving chinese food, its good food and relativly cheap. Dont forget to press the like button for the reveiw, its hurts the fingers to type these reveiws, a little appreciation would be greatly...
Read moreEe needed some Asian food and this was open between lunch and dinner. The service was really horrible. They had several staff but took forever for everything including to get a drink order started. The food was pretty good overall. We had the hot and sour soup to start. Was good, a bit acidly but still good. The egg rolls were fine. We ordered fried rice which came out long before the other entres, a shrimp dish which had baby shrimp and vegetables, was good but shrimp was tiny, beef in oyster sauce which was good but liquid was so much. Sweet and sour chicken was pretty good. All of the entrees were overall good but all came out staged instead of together. Prices are high for the quality and especially service you get. The table was dirty when we arrived and we requested it be cleaned. The bowls for the soup when arrived were not very clean but appeared to have just come from the dishwasher. I would likely...
