La 22 Gastronomía — Restaurant in Catedral

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Food is to die for, ambience is beautiful and creative! Wonderfully located in hart of San Jose near Clinica Biblica. I would visit this place again and again every time I’m in Costa Rica and I recommend you to do the same! The owner is the chef and he’s absolutely talented! Orvieto is a chef, painter, baker ( oh you have to try his raspberry cheese cake! It is divine!) he is also incredibly knowledgeable about the the Country and gave us so many suggestions in regard to exploring Costa Rica! Which places to go to and what must be seen!! I can go on and on about Orvieto and his delicious food, but you have to visit his place to discover it for yourself!!! This restaurant was a highlight os our experience...

My first time visiting San Jose and was looking around for something good to eat and while walking stumble on a highly rated google dine in cuisine.

I'll say this, they did not disappoint. From the setting of the inside that displays rich artistry to the embiance which was anchored by beautiful covers of popular songs from generas going back to the 70 to the 2000s featuring a blues style.

The food was very well put together and I enjoyed the taste as much as the presentation.

We arrived just before the lunch rush and already the service was slow. It seemed that people wearing scrubs were getting priority.
