Empanadas Argentinas CR — Restaurant in Jacó

When the chance came to come back to the Jaco area of Costa Rica these empanadas were one of the only things I wanted. 3 years ago I was here and fell in LOVE with these fried bits of dough. It was great to see the changes to the place, even though I loved the pallet furniture of the past but even greater that the food quality was just as high if not higher than when I was here before. We had all the empanadas when we went and loved each bite. The bean and caprese may be the favorites of the group but everything else was a close second. Mix the two salsas, but 10 and then plan to come back and get some for the plane ride home….or is that just us?? Don’t miss out on this gem in Playa Hermosa….where the food is great and the owners are the sweetest...

our 6 person family came to visit costa rica on spring break and this is by far the best food we got on our 10-day trip. the food was very good we are vegetarian and they had many options to suit our needs. the service was amazing, the workers were very nice and welcoming, and we got all of our empanadas and fries in less than 15 minutes!! the atmosphere was amazing nice and welcoming to families of any ages and being right next to the beach and having a wonderful seating area and games to play while you wait. we order 20+ empanadas and 2 things of fries and it was around $55 usd which is very affordable now days. one of our favorite costa rican...

Epanatas Argentina CR is a charming, outdoor spot with a homey vibe and fairy lights that make it magical after dark, or a shady cool spot during the day. It was the only place in Costa Rica we HAD to visit twice. On our second visit—post-storm and just before closing—the owner still welcomed us with a smile and let us order.
