This is a simple roadside pizza place attached to a liquor store and a juice bar. But the cool thing is how all three business integrate with the seating area and the taste of the pizza is anything but simple. The service guy said, “ if you want any fresh juice, just go to the juice bar and if you want beer just go to the liquor store. Otherwise we have the regular sodas that you can just grab from the fridge coolers.” That totally works!! The pizza is wood fired served on a wood board. The shape is Sicilian (rectangular) and the crust thin, cut up in smaller rectangular pieces that makes it that much more enjoyable to eat than the usual triangle. We ordered the pepperoni and the Caribbean (bacon, pineapple and jalapeños) and the 5 of us devoured both of them. The sitting area is pretty big and outside so no air-con and it can get a little hot if you choose to go there in the afternoon. It’s real casual and a very comfortable atmosphere for some pizza and beer consumption!! There were a couple of chickens walking around which was different than the usual stray cat or dog but nevertheless, entertaining for my 3 yr old. I stopped here for the first time after passing it almost daily. I’ll definitely be stopping more often. I had Pizza Salsy with pepperoni, bacon, and added onions… very good. Great being able to customize the pizza. The pesto sauce was a winner. Since I often dine alone it was really good that they offer multiple sizes including a single slice… but it was more than what I think of as being a slice. My Fraternity Brothers had the munchies for pizza and hit this spot on a night of torrential rain, dang near flooding the streets. The workers were still going strong, taking orders and even had their guys delivering pizza via motorcycle! I had to applaud their commitment for business as usual 👏🏽!
