Baldi Restaurante Virgita — Restaurant in La Fortuna

The lemon chicken is delicious and satisfying. However it is not very filling. We ended up ordering a supreme pizza as well which was also very good. The traditional plate was full of flavor and appetizing. The caprese salad was good for an appetizer and a palate cleanser. Went back again the next night and had food from the bar menu. The Baldi burger is one of the best burgers that I have ever had, however the French fries were a little soggy and soaked in oil. The chicken tenders were not the best, they tasted like they came from a box, however, the krinkle fries that they came with the chicken tenders were really good. If the Baldi burger was served with the krinkle fries, it would be an amazing meal. Overall our experience was good. The restaurante is worth trying if staying at the Baldi resort, not worth it to come if traveling from elsewhere...

They don't even deserve 1 star... The interieur looks amazing, they put so much effort in the interieur but the food was just disgusting to be honest, I didn't expected the food to be that bad. It was deep freeze veggies, pasta sauce tasted so sweet and cheap, tasted like it's ready-made pasta sauce from the supermarket. + The people who worked there. It seemed that they don't enjoy there work. We wanted to give the desert a try but this was also very bad. Really weird that they have rating of 4,4. I don't know if they don't know what high quality food taste like or the reviews are fake? I hate to talk so negative but they should improve the restaurant food to match the beautiful place itself. I didn't finish anything of the dishes nor desert... and right after me and my friend our stomach felt weird because of the food. I'm not hating. Just...

One of the worst places I’ve eaten in Costa Rica. Pizza was horrible with totally wrong cheese that is not made for pizza making. Definetelky not a professional stuff. My salad consisted of weird choices from canned vegetables . I am back again at this property and I love it but I have to leave out for the dinner because of horrible restaurant . On top of everything it was overpriced . Just skip...
