Good place to have a nice relaxing bath after a day of hiking. The place is well designed with a lot of tables to have a drink or bite to eat. One bath wasn't at the right temperature, but the other ones were very enjoyable. The place was under construction at the time that we visited. We went a little early in the afternoon. There were only 4 more people. When we left, it was a little bit more crowded. The place could really be a hotspot, but they need to change some small things to the ambiance. We didn't find a dressing room (we changed in a shower cabin).

we occupied one out of the six bungalows they have. we had the whole thermal baths to ourselves each night an hour before they closed for the day, but we're told we can stay even after. in the night time, forget setting your ambient sound to rain, thunder, and/or rainforest noise because you'll have it playing live all around the area to soothingly put you to a restful sleep.

Only $7 USD to swim all day! Has 7 pools with varying temperatures. Totally worth it for the price. We went at night, it closes at 9pm. Has covered picnic tables, bathrooms and lockers. It was nice, quiet, barely any people were there. Remember to bring a towel.

We went for a day trip to try the hot springs. There were 5 pools with different temperature. We arrived at 11AM and water was being filled in the pool. If you are expecting very hot water like in jacuzzi, you are setting up for disappointment. There were pools that are warmer than the others. You know that the water used has some minerals when you see the bottom of your foot with a different color. Don't worry, you can wash it off. The staff are very friendly. We ordered lunch at the small kitchen. The chicken wings are big portion. We also got a rice meal that was good. What surprised us is how big the empanada is. It is good for sharing. It is very delicious and made fresh. The price of the food is very reasonable. For all what we ordered with drinks, it was only less than $30 and we still took home some food. The entrance fee is also reasonable. An adult is $19 and you can avail a senior discounted rate of $12 even if you are a foreigner. They don't charge for the use of lockers like other resorts. The changing room and toilets are clean. So if you just want to have a relaxing day soaking in a pool with nice ambiance for less cost, you may want to...

I visited this hotel on a solo vacation, I have been to La Fortuna previously, so was looking for a quiet, peaceful place with hot springs, not in the city center. And this hotel has met my expectations. It is stunningly located with a direct, close-up view of the volcano, with a beautiful, well-kept garden full of frogs, lizards, and birds. You can also hear howler monkeys every day. There are several hot springs, each of them well-maintained and with a slightly different temperature. The establishment is clean, non-intrusive, offers a lot of rest space with hammocks and beach chairs that provide intimacy and peace. And the staff is very accommodating. I was staying in a bungalow, which is very basic, but comfortable, has hot shower water, very comfy bed and a small terrace. Same with the food, there are a few options to choose from, more than enough for a stay of 2-3 days, and all the food is fresh, tasty, and plentiful. If you're a solo traveller or a couple, and look for peace and rest, this is a great...
