Loma Real Hot Springs B&B — Hotel in La Fortuna

Fell in love with this place.

Attention: Check in is "virtual", at least in our case, we arrived after 5 PM. Pay close attention to the instructions on the reservation email, they are clear and easy to follow and will get you set up in the room within minutes.

Rooms, exceptionally clean. Location, hotel is on the slope of Arenal Volcano.

Set GPS on phone because exit is easy to miss from the main road.

Would highly suggest for motorcycles as hotel is out of view from hustle and bustle of touristy area, parked motorcycle would be safe here overnight.

My favorite AirBnB rental ever. We stayed with our dogs. Coconut trees, cacao, coffee, bananas - all growing around you. Incredible views. Peaceful and quiet. Probably the closest view and place you can stay to view the Arenal Volcano. Litetally feels like you're at the foot of the volcano. About 8 minutes from downtown Fortuna. People are friendly and welcoming. The room is beautifully crafted. Close door bathroom with a side kitchen and lovely architecture. Beautiful place with a direct sight on the Arenal volcano. Hot springs in the pools, the rooms are clean and comfy. The staff very helpful and they serve a decent and delicious breakfast in three versions. Keep in mind that the upper pools are out of order now (Oct. 2025) but there are two more down the hill to enjoy. Close to the National Park of Arenal and to the most beautiful waterfall in Costarica. I recommend it...
