This place is just ok in my opinion.

The quality and flavor are lacking. The prices are way too high for this quality and style of cooking.

I have been to seafood restaurants in the area and there are much better.

The ceviche was prepared and probably the mixed seafood in it was frozen.

Nothing special.

The soup had heavy cream over powering so the flavors in it. It lacked some salt and that made it edible but again not the best i have had.

The jumbo shrimp looked like a medium size and it was so over cooked that it turned into a gummy bear.

Same thing with the lobster. Please don't treat such a delicacy that way. Learn how to cook it properly. Unless it was frozen or precooked. It has no reason to be over cooked to that degree.

If you come here thinking you're going to get fresh seafood you are going to be in for a bad unpleasant surprise. Ordered the breaded shrimp they were not good at all. Ask the person at the cash register if they bread the shrimp on site. I was told no they were not breaded on site. I asked if they came directly from a freezer to the fryer and he said yes. They were nothing but processed old frozen shrimp. The mashed potatoes were cold and unappealing with no flavor. After I was served I never saw a waiter to ask if I needed anything else afterwards. Great meal here for a group of 12 people. Very tasty food at very affordable prices for San Jose right by Sabana Park. Service was fantastic. Was speaking spanish so forgot to find out how much english was spoken. Menu was bilingual though so I imagine no problems. Only took pics of apps and forgot the mains, which were huge and delicious. Decor and fixtures were basic but I'd rather not have there upgrade costs adding to the price of the food. We have been to there other locations in the past and have been happy every time.
