Casa Planta is advertized as a Vegan restauranut on Google Maps; this is not true. I have been practicing ethical veganism since April 2015. My partner has also been vegetarian for years. The first time, we ordered a Vegan salad, and it came with dairy-based parmesean cheese - thankfully, I called to verify and did not consume the dairy, which was meant for the baby cows. The second time we went to Casa Planta, we ordered the Vegan tacos (which were actually good) and asked the waitor which Vegan side he recommends? He suggested the Vegan spring rolls, so we took them to go. Immediatley after trying one spring roll, we felt extremley ill and knew that something was very off with the food. I had just consumed part of a the body of a fish ... the corpse of my deceased ocean friend. We were the last people, no other customers.... it felt intentional. I broke down in tears, followed by nausea, extreme stomach pain and nightmares nightmares... after not consuming meat for 6 years, we were distraught, to say the least. We will NEVER return here again. This saddens me, because there are few vegan-friendly restaurants in the area and we wanted to give them a 2nd chance. The ocean is their home, lets end this unnecesarry fishing of...

The Tuna Poke bow was amazing the fish is very fresh, rice and mango perfect cook and the sandwich very tasty as well, only thing I don't like is the waiting time. It dose take forever to get the food so if you can wait that would be great, it due to they only have 1 chef a one server.

Also they out of 5 thing we order 2 was out of stock but since it small restaurants and petty busy when we arrive so it understandable.

Overall I will come back for sure cause I do like the food, the price of the food depend on person to person, you can see the menu on google map before you come. .............. Updated down to 3* cause when we order pizza it take over 1.5h for waiting and every time we ask they keep say 5 more mins and the mango smoothie is way too sweet taste like candy.

Got home the pizza was burn bottom, and not gonna lie that is the worst pizza I ever eat in my life, it taste like burn corn bread with chesse and cold cut turkey, the favor is something else. The only 1* they got is for the Tuna bow and...

When we arrived we were informed more than half the menu was not available to order.. when getting the Ceasar salad first they brought us one with chicken on it (we asked for vegitarian) so they took it back and the next one they brought wasn't even a Ceasar salad. The lettuce had dirt on it and was not cut up at all and the dressing was Italian dressing not Ceasar. When ordering the vegan burger there was no patty and instead they stuffed it with canned tomatos as if to replace the non existent chickpea patty it was suppose to come with. When asking the waiter why there was no patty in the burger he just had a look of confusion and didn't do anything to fix it (he said he was new). Overall bad food and way overpriced for what you get. Was not impressed with this place. There is lots of meat on the menu and only a small section is vegitarian so the name of this place...

Cute coffee shop nearby the beach with a relaxing ambiance and welcoming staff. We ordered the Caribbean queen ceviche and the patacones. Both dishes were delicious notably the dips and the dried plantain chips. However, we ordered some mango smoothies and were highly disappointed. We could not taste the mango whatsoever, so we naturally asked them for their recipe. They actually had a pre-made concoction that was not made with fresh mangos at all. Instead, they tasted like refined mango-flavored sparkling soda. The staff was very transparent about it, which we appreciated, yet they should not name this beverage a smoothie.

Friendly staff. The watermelon juice is tasty and fresh. Food was good. We canceled main dishes because it took about one hour to get a starter. The fried plantain with beans and salsa is tasty though. They use fresh ingredients. I think they can really improve on speedier service. Perhaps there was an issue with the kitchen functioning today? We ordered at 11:36 AM. They told us that lunch won't start until 12 PM. We did not had our appetizer until after 12:30. We were really excited about finding this vegan/vegetarian restaurant.
