A fellow traveler suggested this place to us as her and her husband had been to the restaurant 4 times already in a week. We were very excited to give it a try. The service was very quick and everyone was so nice and polite.
We ordered a guacamole to start off and were very disappointed with its store bought taste. The waiter was honest with us when we asked if it was in fact "Store bought" and he said yes, we then proceeded by adding some lime, chilli peppers, salt and pepper which already improved the taste. We didn't mind it was store bought but for the price we were paying, we would have expected the restaurant to give it a "Wagon touch".
The drinks we had ordered (mojito for me and a margarita for my friend) was personalised and to our liking. The waiter new is drink menu very well and suggested the best options to us.
We ordered a burger and a pizza. The burger we received was unfortunately not the one we had ordered and was very simple and the meat was a bit dry. It came with no fries or salad. Just the burger.
Now the pizza is what made our visit worth it. They were very kind to make 2 different kinds of pizza in one (50-50) the crust and topping were fresh, every mouthful was extremely tasteful, the crust was not to thick which made it even greater.
I recommend this restaurant for the service, the drinks but especially for the...

Our group had been eating a ton of local fare. When we were nearby Manuel Antonio National Park we had the chance to drive about 10 minutes from the park to enjoy some of the best pizza ever. From the zesty Capriciosa Pizza to the Diavola Pizza, your group can order multiple pizzas to share. The crust is baked in a pizza oven to perfection, just the right amount of crunch.
In addition to pizzas, you can have a meaty burger, fries and pick from a wonderful assortment of bar drinks. The pina colada was blended to take the heat away, yummy.
The restaurant is indoors/outdoors, with flexible walls just in case of a tropical rain. There are lots of rocking chairs and other big wooden chairs to enjoy while you dine.
If you are in the vicinity of the park, be sure to head to El Wagon, you won't be...
Read moreThey have few veg and vegan options. They were out of cauliflower wings. Pizza was just ok. Nothing too good about it. Wrap was nice.
When we entered, one of the servers cashew running to us and recommended blueberry colada and mango drink. Our waiter gave us a menu of their special drinks that did not have price mentioned and again he also recommended same drinks. So we ordered without knowing that each drink costs $20 USD!! I'd not have ordered if I knew there are so expensive drinks. I felt like being scammed with waiters highly recommending these drinks and not mentioning price anywhere.
We asked to sit inside the wagon that had AC and different place for...
