Teca Beach — Restaurant in Sámara

My husband and I were here early April 2024. We had the guacamole and chips. It was fantastic. The chips are house made and freshly cut. This is a French Chef, so slightly finer dinning. I had the seared tuna dish with risotto and it was fabulous. The place had good music and was very quiet. The menus are offered in 3 languages: English, French and Spanish. Good to refine your language skills! Ivannia was our server and she was amazing. Her attention to detail was impecable and although her English wad limited, and our Spanish was limited, we had a great time chatting with her with the help of Google translate. Overall, our experience was positive. We visited on a Monday afternoon in late October. The restaurant is very cozy and had live music on that night starting at 8pm. Although the restaurant had only a few guests, so most of the tables were empty. The service was friendly.

Food: We ate fish fingers, a fish burger and a grilled fish. The food quality was good, but not outstanding. Compared to other restaurants in Samara it seems in the upper range. Our two cocktails were ok, the Pina Colada was not my favourite. For food and two drinks + two cocktails we paid 80$ in total.

Teca Beach is centrally located in Samara, away from the beach a couple hundred meters.

The location is easy to find on a dirt street, near the central futbol field. The environment is cozy although nights with music can be loud, making conversation difficult.

The service is relaxed and not rushed. The menu isn't huge but has a good amount of choices. The wine and cocktail list was surprisingly complete. The food is fresh and well prepared. I was especially glad the whole sea bass was cooked perfectly, as were the accompanying vegetables.
