Love this place, love their food and coffee, and the people there. Went there everyday after I was able to find the place. Best coffee in Coco. Easy parking, clean place, clean & spacious bathroom, airconditioned, lots of beautiful wooden bowls, local art and souvenirs (keychains, magnets, pottery, masks, indigenous jewelry, chocolates, shirts, caps, etc.) inside, as well as tours. They accommodated my allergies and remembered it. I ate there almost everyday and also ordered takeout. All of them were delicious, fresh, well-seasoned, and portions are the same as in the US (hard to finish). I wish I was able to find the place earlier, I would've gone there everyday and maybe I would've been able to order everything in the menu. I also bought 1kg of coffee beans to bring home with me, which was roasted fresh and bagged right before I left. It smells divine. It's the kind of place that I would buy coffee from everyday if I was based there. And the food is sublime every single time. The owners and staff were very attentive, friendly, accommodating, and understands and speaks English well. I love the Boruca masks and wood bowls there, which I bought, because they're unique and well-crafted and make for an interesting souvenir. The stuff I saw there were different from all the other places I visited (which had similar designs).

Their coffee roasting is behind their cafe. I think they offer paid tours (ask Marco) or message Big Fingers Coffee Roaster to inquire. It's very interesting and will make coffee lovers appreciate coffee more.

Thank you so much to the owners, Marco and Nixie. Thank you too,...

Rarely do I post a review of a restaurant, but we have been here 4 times (probably a 5th tomorrow for our last breakfast here) on our visit here in Costa Rica and it has been nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. The food is OUTSTANDING, everything from the smoothies to omelettes to sandwiches and everything in between. The first day we got there and my wife asked for Coke Zero, which they didn't have, but the owner offered to go buy some just for her to have. That kind of service is rarely seen in any restaurant that I've ever been to. On to the food, literally every single item we have ordered has been amazing! Do yourself a favor and go eat here if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed!! All of the staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you...

The food and service is awesome. Not only does the food taste fantastic but it’s also very satisfying/filling as well! The staff are very kind and treat you with a lot of love. I would definitely recommend this place as I will be coming here again the next time I’m back in Costa Rica.

Also try their coffee beans and their coco treats they sell in individual bags as well got several of them to take home with us as well. The breakfast we tried as well were the eggs Benedict combo, the knockout burrito, pancakes (fluffy very fluffy!!) and another one I can’t remember as the week I spent here I came here several times for breakfast. The coffee whether it’s orange cold brew or espresso is unique and refreshing. Can’t wait for my...

5 stars! This place lived up to their reputation and I will gladly contribute another 5 star review! We chose symbiosis as our very last meal in Costa Rica for breakfast before we departed for the airport. It did not disappoint. The service was very kind and helpful. The food was very good as well. The prices seemed to be lower than other places in coco area as well! They have a small area that has souvenirs as well. I would highly recommend having a breakfast here or even stopping in for coffee. Thanks so much for a wonderful send off from our beautiful week in Costa Rica!
