Coconutz Brewhouse — Restaurant in Sardinal

This was a very disappointing experience. The atmosphere looked really nice and inviting! My wife and I were looking for something quick and familiar while visiting from the United States. We had a waitress who just seemed uninterested in having any kind of friendly conversation. My wife speaks fluently in Spanish and still could tell there was some kind of attitude from her. I ordered a burger along with a wrap for my wife. We waited 30 minutes before having to flag down someone else at the bar to ask where our waitress went as she just disappeared in to the back. Eventually they brought out my wife’s wrap and we then proceeded to wait 15 more minutes until having to flag down a different waitress to ask where our waitress was again and that I am still waiting on a burger. They went to the front and printed up a receipt and the waitress showed up from the back. They had a conversation and we saw the waitress pop her head out, look at us and shake her head no. The other waitress came back and said “we only have you down for the chicken wrap, no burger” which is odd because the waitress asked if I wanted Cheddar cheese and tomatoes on my burger. After explaining that we both witnessed me ask for a burger and the waitress agreed. They were very nice and asked if they could make me a burger, but I was wanting to get on my way so I respectfully declined. Then the waitress came back to finally start doing her job and filled up our water, and said nothing, no apologies or “im sorry I misunderstood” and my wife asked for the check. She shook her head yes in agreement. Then proceeded to walk from table to table, “helping” others around us and going behind the bar and hiding away for another 20 minutes. I finally had enough and got up and flagged down another person (felt like the 15th person I flagged down) and told her that we asked for the check and she never gave it to us. She was very apologetic and got us checked out right away. The waitress we had to unfortunately have serve us was young and she seemed like she really didn’t care for me or my business. Felt a little directed towards me more than my wife. Sucks that with this brewery they automatically include gratuity in your bill. I would of not tipped anything to the waitress and tipped the others that actually...

Absolutely the worst service I ever experienced from our waitress. How do you take only have of a party of 16’s order and still mess it up leaving one without food. 3 hours for no meal, incredible. Spare yourself the aggravation especially if you have a large group go elsewhere they can’t handle it. The drinks are weak and foods not all that from what I saw on others plates

Update to owners response….first of all the other people in our party clearly heard my order and said as much to the waitress and she proceeded to argue with me, the sides were disgusting, they were left untouched. It was three drinks… which I paid for, what I did not want to pay and I said so as such that legally, I was not forced to pay for a tip for a service that was mediocre and that is my right. I am of Spanish descent so there is no excuse for a language barrier. I am fluent in Spanish. And lastly, since the response of the owner is unacceptable, that waitress in the US would be charged with assault for grabbing my arm on my way out. Again I paid for my drinks what I refuse to pay for was for any part of a meal that was not brought out and for a gratuity undeserved. This waitress made only one check in the entire three hours. We were sitting around this establishment, waiting for our meals to come out, which they all came at separate times....

We were looking for burgers, so my wife and I went for an early dinner. Since we were early, we were the only ones in the dining room. The waitress took our drink order and those arrived promptly. She took our order for pork belly and pineapple skewers for appetizer and we both ordered burgers. After about a half hour (and again we were still the only ones in the dining room) the waitress stopped by at which time I commented wondering what was going on in the kitchen. She walked away and spoke to another staff member who disappeared to what I presume was the kitchen. I commented to my wife... watch they are going to bring us our appetizer and entres at the same time. Moments later, the person who disappeared came out carrying three plates - our appetizer, and our burgers quite as I expected. My wife ordered hers with fries while I ordered mine with onion rings. The pork in the pork belly skewers was way overdone, dry as bone and hard as rocks. Quite difficult to cut even with knife, and hardly edible. . Both of our burgers were quite fine, but there was way too much batter on my onion rings, and they were almost a bit greasy.

The service was fine and the waitress was quite apologetic. The food, on the other hand, was...
