Wonderful staff makes The Garden Bar a friendly, enjoyable environment. You can get a drink anywhere, but the staff here provides the real reason that you'll want to come back. Everyone is friendly and helpful and eager for you to enjoy your time spent with them. We stayed at the hotel for a week and spent time getting to know Jorge and friends. Events most evenings during the week were well attended and added a bit of fun. Enjoy!

We enjoyed The Garden Bar during our visit to Coco in February 2024 ( joined others there to watch the Superbowl!). We've now been in Coco 3 weeks and have been back to The Garden Bar 4 times. They have a nice variety of entrees, great atmosphere, hospitable staff and the food is great. It's not in the touristy part of town and that helps make it incredibly enjoyable!

This was our favorite restaurant in Playas del Coco. We went there for dinners 3 times and everything we tried was delicious. The dining area is nicely decorated and the service is quick and friendly. We liked the best: mahi-mahi in seafood sauce, shrimp stuffed fish, and seafood rice.

Wonderful staff makes The Garden Bar a friendly, enjoyable environment. You can get a drink anywhere, but the staff here provides the real reason that you'll want to come back. Everyone is friendly and helpful and eager for you to enjoy your time spent with them. We stayed at the hotel for a week and spent time getting to know Jorge and friends. We enjoyed The Garden Bar during our visit to Coco in February 2024 ( joined others there to watch the Superbowl!). We've now been in Coco 3 weeks and have been back to The Garden Bar 4 times. They have a nice variety of entrees, great atmosphere, hospitable staff and the food is great. It's not in the touristy part of town and that helps make it incredibly enjoyable!

This was our favorite restaurant in Playas del Coco. We went there for dinners 3 times and everything we tried was delicious. The dining area is nicely decorated and the service is quick and friendly. We liked the best: mahi-mahi in seafood sauce, shrimp stuffed fish, and seafood rice.

I came to Coco to do some diving and stayed at Puerta del Sol. The Garden Bar has amazingly friendly staff. Dennis is the man. Ask for him by name. Others like Miranda, Christa are all very kind. My favorite item on the menu was the cheeseburger (I took out half the pickles and opted for something other than the fries). I have yet to try the sushi (despite a lot of the guests recommending it) but I've had the burger 5 times 🤦‍♂️. Why fix what isn't broken? The cocktail list looks good but I am abstaining since I am here for scuba diving. Either I eat at least one meal at this place to hang out with the staff and enjoy a warm meal before...

Garden bar has great servers. When Charlie plays and have Joe as the drummer and Alica singing it is the best. Lots of dancing. The problem I have is their inconsistency with RSVP. THEY SAY THEY DON'T RSVP BUT YET YOU ARE ASKED TO GET UP FOR RSVP TABLES. I went in person to RSVP a table for Thursday and they say they don't take reservations. When I go on Thursday, I will not move even if they say the table is for someone else. Even if they threaten again to call the police. The severs are great and I'm sorry they are put in...
