It's rustic and funky -open air containers. It's cool, but it more of a Texas roadhouse or Austin Food Truck on steroids than a steakhouse. We ordered ribeye with mushroom chimichurra sauce. Medium. It was medium rare to rare in some areas. But still good in flavor for the cut. $33USD. House special red wine at $20USD was un-drinkable, but that didn't stop us! There is NO wine list. Gorgeous wine glasses, though. Too fancy for the joint. Do not order this wine in the photo! Yuck. The live musician was way too loud (voice, guitar, back-up tracks). All Elvis, Clapton and Beatles which seems weird for a US tourist to Costa Rica. Thank God we sat out front with the breeze. It would have been stifling hot and much too loud under their roof.

We immediately felt at home with their friendly service. They helped us try new things, were personable, and made us feel comfortable and special. You can tell they enjoy the people and place they work at. The food was so incredible...best food that we have had since we arrived in Costa Rica! Everything is fresh and you know exactly what you are getting.Chef Arturo has his station in the back so you can see everything that goes into your dish.
